I love the biography of missionary Gladys Aylward.  She says”If God has called you to China or any other place and you are sure in your own heart, let nothing deter you…remember it is God who has called you and it is the same as when He called Moses or Samuel.”

As we begin the process of heading back to Kenya we once again face many trials. It doesnt make sense to anyone else and we are told over and over “Well God must be closing that door.” As I hear these words my heart sinks. But as my husband and I talk and pray through this we both have come to one conclusion…. Failure is not an option. Our investments did not come through as planned and it doesnt make any sense to leave for Kenya at this time. I know the saying” well if that door closes just wait another will open” but I say” if that door closes..kick it in!” I dont believe Gods people turned around and went home everytime it appeared a door was being closed.

As far as the ministry and vision God has so put into our hearts to work with orphans and homeless youth…it cannot fail. We are ready to charge hell with our water pistol. ” If God is for us, who can be against us”  Romans 8:31
