Yesterday I took a 8 hour road trip. My life lately consists of having several conversations at one time, going 2 different directions and my mind is flooded with thoughts of all I have to do and what Im forgetting to do. Basically Im your typical mom….but if you know me , you know Im not a multitasker. This 8 hour drive was such a blessing. Jesus and I had a revival in my car as I sang, worshiped and talked to Him.

One of the scriptures I meditated on as I drove was Luke 7:37-38…And there was a woman in the city who was a sinner; and when she learned that He was reclining at the table in the Pharisee’s house, she brought an alabaster vial of perfume, 38and standing behind Him at His feet, weeping, she began to wet His feet with her tears, and kept wiping them with the hair of her head, and kissing His feet and anointing them with the perfume.

As we prepare to leave for Kenya we dont just want to be physically ready with all the right things but spiritually prepared also. May we be at His feet in worship ready to pour out our offering of everything we have trusting He will take care of us. May we allow Jesus to heal anything broken in us. . May we not be concerned about what others on the outside may say but only want to please You. May we be a testimony to those who dont know You yet that they may want to know You by the way we live…and may we be broken to the point of tears when we are not. We have precious ones waiting for us in Kenya. Prepare our hearts Lord for the work You have called us to do.

Oh and by the way when I got home from my 8 hour drive…my house that I left a mess was now clean.Feeling Blessed.
