This quote by missionary William Carey has given us courage as we embark into what the Lord has for us. This is biblical missions, Community holding the rope as we plunge into the deep end of the Lords will for the nations “For my name will be great among the nations.” Malachi 1:11 We invite you to take hold of that rope as God leads you so that we can be a part of making His name great in the nations.

Since we began to think about having to raise support to fund the work God has called us to in Mombasa, Kenya we were filled with fear and insecurities; we thought of how we could do this on our own. We did not want to ask for help. Since our first letter God has humbled us by your faith in the Lord and us and by your giving so sacrificially. Thank You!

Our plane leaves on July 3^rd; we hope to take you with us via newsletter, Andrus Family Facebook, and eventually our website (as soon as we can figure it out) We can’t wait to share with you how God is going to turn beauty from ashes. Through your support we feel like an Army going into battle with all the resources we need for victory. Thank you to those of you who have already given. We do not take your sacrifice lightly.

We are very close to meeting our monthly budget for the year, so that we will be able to stay long term. If you have not yet given and would like to help us meet this goal, please consider giving monthly as this will help us budget long term.
