I thought I’d take time everyday to tell you a little about all of the special people God has put in our lives here in Mombasa.

I’ll start with Josephine our housekeeper. She is one of the most honest people I have ever known and would never steal even though the average wage for a housekeeper is only 3$ a day. She is 54 years old and takes care of her 7 year old granddaughter sandra (her father refused to let her mom keep her when she was burned in a fire)She walks many miles every day to take her granddaughter to and from school and many miles to and from church. She is strong and kind. She is very loving to Haven and she makes delicious chipati. We are so blessed to have her.
