Jambo. We just wanted to shoot you a quick update on what God has been doing recently.

The 500 CLUB (VBS FOR 500 orphans every Saturday) has been amazing! One of our biggest challenges was how to reach 500 orphaned children with the love of  Jesus. How do we make certain each and every child knows they are treasured and loved by us and by God. Recently we started breaking the massive amount of kids into small groups.

SMALL GROUPS  What is normally total chaos, instead has been perfect and peaceful. Our young men and women that we disciple have been leading these groups. They teach whatever God lays on their hearts and pray with them. They ask us to pray for God to deliver them of nightmares. They pray they wont go hungry, and for God to heal their .   We can see God moving. We have been discussing how we can bring the gospel to their  parent or caregivers as well.  Many of the young men and women that are helping us lead have at one time  been homeless or orphaned themselves. Only God does that! It is so beautiful! So many of these children are hungry for God.

In the beginning of the 500 club we were very careful presenting the gospel knowing over half were from muslim homes. God has showed us now that we can be bold in proclaiming Jesus!

HADIJA One young girl at the 500 club that Tammy has been pouring into for over a year now, has not only surrendered her life to Christ but her entire muslim family are now believers and are attending church. Praise Jesus!!!. Only God can do that! The children have a new look in there eyes. When we first began serving at the feeding center almost 6 years ago the look in there eyes was one of hopelessness and sadness. We get to be apart of trading it in for joy.

The BABY CARE PACKAGES MINISTRY has been going well. We continue to build bridges between the Christian and Muslim people through this gift giving ministry. Recently God has crossed our paths with a midwife in a remote village that delivers babies in return for whatever the mother has. Corn, beans, or perhaps a chicken(we received a chicken just the other day). These women usually have nothing for their babies. So we look forward to bringing care packages to these young women and perhaps deliver a baby or two.

God is doing too much to put in a letter. And there is much more to be done! “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few , pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest” Matthew 9:37-38.
